I'm 17 from a small town in Ky
I have a 29 on my ACT(my super score is a 30)
32 in english,27 in math,33 in reading,28 in science
I was selected as a Ky governor's scholar this past summer
I have been active with clubs such as National History Day(I was runner-up as state as a freshman, and runner up at regions as a junior), Student YMCA,the Kentucky Youth Assembly(where I served as a justice on the model supreme court) and I have played many sports(basketball for 2 years, indoor track for a year, cross country for a year)
I have taken 6 ap classes (U.S. History,Macroeconomics<online>,Physics B,Calculus AB,Chemistry,English Literature and Composition)
I also have an EFC of 0 if that makes a difference
My GPA is 3.65 weighted and around 3.5 unweighted</online>

I’m also a URM (black/african-american)

29ACT wih a 3.5 GPA is on the low side of the target range for ND, but as an URM, your chances are obviously improved. Additionally, your EC’s (at least as described) are pretty underwhelming. Couple of sports that you didnt stick with, and couple clubs with limited leadership demonstration, do not show a contructive use of all of yor free time in HS are generally not the type of EC’s that result in positive admissions outcomes at elite schools.

I would rate you as a reach for ND.

I’ve also held a job from midway through my junior year till midway through my senior year and that took up a lot of my free time for sports.

And also I’ve been very active with a few groups instead of spreading myself out with too many, I have been in a leadership position every year that I have participated at the Kentucky Youth Assembly (Freshman:Bill author, Sophmore & Junior: Supreme Court Advocate, Senior:Supreme court Justice) here is the website that explains more about the program: http://www.kyymca.org/KYA.aspx
