I’m just wondering what my chances of being accepted would be without completing all major pre reqs for UCs. I am a marine bio major currently studying at a ccc and will be applying to UCSD, UCSC, and UCSB for Fall 2018. By the end of the spring semester I will still be missing the entire physics series and calc 2 and 3. My gpa is a 3.40 and I am also currently working as a vet assistant and interning at an aquarium.
According to the schools websites and assist.org, only UCSC does not require all the Calculus courses and Physics courses to be completed prior to transfer but recommends to complete as many as possible. Both UCSD and UCSB require that you complete the Calculus and Physics series prior to transfer.
I would apply to UCSC this year and if you are not accepted, then spend another year at your CC and finish the rest of these pre-req courses.
