I am currently a senior in high school, and I am planning to apply to Notre Dame. I am ranked 10th of 200 in a very competitive high school class, with a 4.3 GPA, and I have taken all of the most challenging courses available. I have mainly focused my studies on Math and Science and I will have received 6 credits in each by the time I graduate. Last year, I took the AP US History test and received a 5, and this year I am taking AP Chemistry, AP Physics C, AP Calculus AB, AP Statistics, and AP English Lit & Comp. I received a 2240 on the SAT (680 Reading, 800 Math, and 760 Writing), and have been recognized as a high scorer on many math competitions, and I am the captain of the school's varsity academic challenge which has placed very well in many competitions. I have also participated on the Bridge Building team, and I am a member of the National Honor Society. I have assisted in tutoring, and I have a lot of service experience.
Is this good enough to get accepted into Notre Dame? And also, should I apply Early Action? Thanks!

You look pretty well rounded. I assume your service work is diversified and has some leadership aspects to it. Rank is solid, GPA is great, and SATs are good. I think you have a good shot EA and an excellent shot RD. If you do go EA make sure your essay is outstanding and that you back it with quality recs. Good luck.
