Hi I’m from Texas and I’m wondering about my chances of attending RIT?
I’m extremely interested in the programs that RIT offers but financials play a major role so
how much would y’all estimate my scholarships?
SAT: 1400
ACT: 32
GPA: 3.6
Thanks.

My D17 is a happy freshman EE at RIT. Her stats: GPA 3.9 UW, 4.4 WT, ACT: 30 (E: 27 M: 33 R: 32 S: 27)
She was offered 15K and we got it bumped to 16K. I think the max award is for NMF and is 18K. The max presidential is 16K (or was last year). If those amounts are what you are needing, I would say definitely apply!
(Note: I’m only talking merit – don’t know anything about their need-based aid).
thanks for this info. Did your daughter apply ED or RD? Does it matter w/merit based scholarships? My son has similar stats and just got excepted ED.
Hi, finishing up my sophomore year at RIT. RIT was very generous with their aid in regards to me. I received $10k in merit, but then they covered pretty much everything else because of need. I was also able to request additional aid and received $1,000 more. You’ll probably get a healthy amount of merit, but need-based totally depends.
I am a girl who went into computing. 3.6 HS GPA, 13-something on the SAT, I was dual enrolled in HS, though, with a 4.0 in my university classes.
