*note: i transferred to my current high school two months into freshman year, and i was in honors at my old high school. since my high school offers high school credit in middle school, i was put in standard core classes instead of honors classes (except honors english - i've been in honors english throughout high school). i had a difficult living situation and family issues my freshman year which affected my mental state and my grades. i ended my first year of high school with an awful gpa, but i've been working my butt off since sophomore year to get everything up.

i'm taking my SATs next month.

i really want to apply to vassar ED...some of you may scoff at this, i know. i know someone who went there who wants to help me get in, but i'm probably not a strong applicant compared to the others on here who complain about their 3.9 gpas and whatnot. i'm also thinking of eugene lang and some schools in my state.

please, don't be rude. i really don't want to be told AGAIN that i'm only good enough for community colleges.
