Just based on this advice, and let’s say that my personal statements are average, what do you think my chances are getting in are?
Thanks for any advice.
@arad1999
Sorry to break it to you.
But it’s going to be high reach for you.
Your UC GPA and SAT reading are below the 25th percentile. Any chance you will be retaking the SAT to get your Reading score up?
GPA and test scores of middle 25%-75% students
High School GPA: 4.12 - 4.30
ACT Composite Score:30 - 34
SAT Critical Reading:630 - 750
SAT Mathematics:660 - 780
UCB with current stats looks like a Reach. I would definitely revise your personal statements (essays) to help your chances.

Applicants with 4.0 UC-weighted-capped HS GPA had a 12% admission rate to UCB in 2015. However, if you apply for EECS (versus L&S), admission will be more difficult than for the campus overall. Although UCs do not emphasize SAT scores as much as many other colleges, lower than typical SAT scores certainly do not help.
Consider UCB a high reach, even higher reach for EECS.
Comp Sci is an extremely competitive major especially for an Asian-American applicant because there are many Asian-American students applying to Comp Sci. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try. I have seen many students with worse stats than yours get admitted to both UCLA and UCB.
@websensation race isn’t considered in UCs.
