I just want to know if I have a good chance on getting into these schools
Honestly, I would retake the SAT and aim above a 1150 if you want to be sure you get in. Your GPA and ECs seem fine, just get that SAT score a few points higher. I would also apply early if possible if you are set on these schools. Good luck.
Check out SUNY.edu to see where your stats land you.
My D applied to early childhood education at Cortland and was accepted. At that time (2009), it had an interesting sounding urban education major. When we explored it, it became fairly clear that the program was not looking for white girls, but was geared towards URM candidates -which was fine, there certainly should be more encouragement of male and minority students to go into teaching. However, finding that out just helped my D decide on a different SUNY school where she had a chance of getting into the ed program.
Based on your income, you might want to apply for EOP, which has lower gpa and score requirements.
