To be honest, the only thing that might be weighing you down is that SAT score, so if you did good on the december SAT, then you should be fine. I made the mistake of ruining my GPA freshman year, so hopefully I get in too.

@whiteclouds1@UCF0923 Is your unweighted/weighted GPA all of your grades? UCF recalculates your grades using only your 4 core and foreign language- which means for most kids their UCF GPA will be lower. You do get a .5 and 1 point bump up for honors and AP/DE. If you haven’t, recalculate your grades and see what your UCF GPA is. You can search UCF common data set and see how your stats match last year- SAT is off because the kids took old and new.
If UCF is your #1 school, you can ask to be considered for Summer instead- it is easier to get in. Also, if your grades were great in the first quarter and it wasn’t on your original transcript send a new updated transcript!
Im not sure about their gpa’s but ones SAT was 1140 and she was accepted for the summer access program. she is also a female engineering student so that might have helped her. The other one im pretty sure his SAT was 1160-1180 but he has a very popular youtube channel. He hasnt taken dual enrollment classes or any AP. mostly AICE and honors so I am not sure how he got in
also, my SAT is 1140
GPA unweighted- 3.3
weighted-3.8
720 community service hours
my senior year I did full time dual enrollment.
I was deferred for fall at first and then again for summer but I called them alot and showed interest
