<p>I here competition is very intense to get into Groton. I am a thirteen year old girl and I am planning to apply for my sophomore year. I have straight A's and I'm the top distance runner on my track team. I'm also a competitive swimmer. I've recently done a lot of community service and I received the "Knights of Pythias" award at the conclusion of this year. I played bell percussion for three years but I'm not sure if I want to continue this instrument in the future. I've been told I'm very charismatic and easy to talk to. In addition writing is my favorite subject so I think that could help me get in. I am white. I have a cousin that attends Groton and she says her classes are all very small. There are only about 80 kids in her grade. Do you think I have a good chance of getting in? If not, please let me know what I could do to increase my chances.</p>
