What are my chances of getting in?

I’m in-state, applying for statistics and put viola performance as my alternate because I’m planning to double major, 3.85 weighted and capped GPA, 30 ACT, I play 3 instruments and im color guard captain at my school and I was in mock trial for 2 years. I took 2 APs junior year and I’m taking 5 this year. How do my chances look?? Also, does anyone know when decisions will be released? I’ve heard the 10th and 16th.

Your GPA and test scores put you at or below the 25th percentile. Your music accomplishments would make you an interesting applicant. Did you audition for the viola performance? UCLA is a Reach school for the majority of applicants due to the competitiveness and low acceptance rate. I think it will be a tough admit overall for Stats. As for your alternate major, it will depend upon how you did on the audition.

Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19 (capped weighted) and not major specific:
UCLA: 11.7%

25th - 75th percentiles for ACT:
UCLA: 30-34

they didn’t ask me to submit an audition since it was an alternate, the admissions hotline said i could audition as soon as i submitted my SIR and added the second major

i did write about my musical accomplishments in 2 of my personal insight questions and made it clear that i would declare that as a double major
