do I have a chance of getting accepted?

You are above average for SAT scores, and about average for GPA. You seem to have a rigorous courseload and seem like a well-rounded individual. I’d say it’s very likely you’d be accepted, but do try to apply fairly early in the winter and, if you decide to attend, deposit early as well (deposits are low, and are refundable until May 1st). With the economy, I think the number of apps will continue to be up and those with early deposits get a better selection of housing!

i would say you are in.

I can’t really help my GPA but if I get my SAT scores or my ACT scores up do you think that I have a better chance of getting in and getting money?

easily a shoe in

In 10 char

From UB’s website:
Admission to the Honors College is based on high school performance and standardized test scores. To be competitive for consideration, applicants should present an unweighted high school average of 93 and a combined SAT critical reading and math score of 1300 or ACT score of 29.

There are several other scholarship programs, but UB is not a big merit aid school.
