What are my chances of getting into a B.S./M.D. Program in the US?

This sucks :frowning:

  1. We don’t have any AP Classes
  2. There are only a small amount of extracurricular activities and most of these aren’t even related to science or medicine
  3. I don’t have much achievements and/or award since my shtty school doesn’t involve in any competitions.
  4. I’m not a member in any whatever “smart clubs.” Just Red Cross, and it’s crap.

The only advantage I have is (dunno if you could even call it an advantage though…)

  1. I have a 4.0 GPA
  2. Gold Honor Roll (We’re not ranked numerically, just bronze, silver, and gold. Each award has a lot of students so it isn’t much)
  3. My parents are both doctors and we own a hospital (so I may have what some of you call “shadowing”?)

This depresses me so bad…
I’m really pissed off because of where I’m born! I’m so envious of you all!! I live in a frickin’ third world shtty South East Asian country (well it is somehow developing but only in some parts of the country!) I’m a country bumpkin! I live in a rural area!I don’t live in the cities where there would be better education! I’m left with these incompetent teachers who doesn’t even give a flying fck about any of us!

Sorry for ranting, I’m just so frustrated that I can’t think properly :’(

Impossible to say without test scores. But I’ll say that these are among the absolutely most selective programs for domestic applicants, even much more so for international applicants.

Are there any US BS/MD programs that admit internationals? I can’t think of any. I thought that due to med school funding mechanisms they are restricted to US citizens/residents only.
