What are my chances of getting into a good college?

Hi,

I hope to do a computer science major at a good UC like Berkeley or Los Angeles, or even possibly Stanford. I understand that computer science is a very competitive major, but I am in a very competitive high school.

My SAT score is 2270 (not combined) and my unweighted GPA is 3.719(this GPA is only as of now) (my UC GPA is 4.083). I am a junior and my UC GPA is based on my score estimates for this semester. I go to one of the most competitive and highly ranked schools in the nation in the Bay Area. In sohpomore year I took Chemistry honors, and this year I am taking AP Computer Science, AP Chemistry and Pre-Calcus Honors. Next year, I plan on taking AP Econ, AP Gov, Physics Honors, Calculus BC. The classes I listed above are soley the more advanced classes I have taken.
I took C++ at my local community college last summer and plan to take a more advanced C++ course this coming summer.

In addition, for my extracurriculars I am a member of my school's Robotics team, and I am also a coach for a FIRST Lego League Robotics team of middle schoolers. I am an active member of FBLA and have won many awards in technology competitions. I also had an internship in the summer of 2012 at a local tech startup. I am also Director of Technology/ Webmaster at a volunteer club and am Vice President of Technology at my school's investment club. I also tutor STEM subjects for volunteer hours as part of National Honor Society. I have around 300 volunteer hours frmo coachin the robotics team to voluteering at a hospital and other misc activities. At the moment I am wokring on a major project, where I am Co-Founder and I really hope this plays a major role in college apllicatiosn.

btw ik my gpa sucks..but ive been showing this upward trend in grades as i move to more advanced classes if that means anything
Thakns,

I think that both UCLA and UCB are not out of the question. Your SAT will keep you in the running tons of places! And I know that you think your GPA is low, but many schools will bend the rules a bit for a super high SAT because it makes their averages go up.

Other ‘good schools’ you should look into:
USC (they probably will offer you a scholarship)
U of Michigan (again, scholarship!)
UPenn - why not? Must apply ED for a chance, trust me
Vanderbilt - maybe ED 2?
Emory - also offer ED 1 and 2
Carnegie Mellon
John Hopkins
Northwestern - applying ED makes a difference here too

Please chance back!! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1617448-chance-me-please-i-ll-chance-back.html#latest
