Hi! So it has been a dream of mine to attend a UC school. I'm currently a junior but will be a senior by this September and will probably have to start college applications in a few months! But I am a bit stressed because I think my grades are not good enough? Do UCs take weighted or unweighted GPA? Here are my scores so far for the past years (and also, if you know, do UC schools look at all Freshman-Junior GPA scores when considering you as candidate, rather than only looking at your final cumulative GPA after junior year?):

Freshman year: All pre-IB (which are basically honor) courses. GPA: ~3.87 <--GPA by end of freshman year (straight As)
Sophomore year: All pre-IB courses. GPA: 3.93 (straight As)
Junior year: Candidate for the IB diploma. In other words, this year, I am a full IB student (in case you don't know what IB is, it is similar to AP, although probably more rigorous). I achieved As in all my IB classes EXCEPT for IB Math SL, which I got a B. GPA by end of first semester: 3.91

So here's the thing that's stressing me out. I got 2 B+'s for the second semester. First was in Java, because that class is really hard once second semester came by and another B+ in math, because I am not too strong in math. I haven't gotten my report card yet, but assuming my reporting cycle GPA is around a 3.7, my cumulative GPA may end up dropping to a 3.8.

Will this affect my chances? I mean, I'm a really hard worker and sometimes, I just can't keep up with the classes, but nevertheless, I still managed to achieve As and Bs in my classes (and they are all IB courses, too, except for French and Java, which are pre-IB courses). If I do end up with a 3.8, unweighted GPA as a full-IB student, will my chances decrease, because my GPA did kinda drop after sophomore year. But I don't wanna make it seem as if I slacked off, because that is totally not the case!

I have a 1690 SAT score (I know, it's horrible and probably won't get me into UC school yet, but I am studying extra hard because I improved my score by over 200 points from last year's summer), but assuming I study over the summer non-stop and end up with a 1900-2000 (that's my goal), will my chances be good? University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Los Angeles, and Davis are the schools I'd like to try out.

Oh yeah, and I don't have many extra curricular activities but unlike some people, I commit to one specific extra curricular activity for the past years. Here's my extra curriculars:
1) Piano
2) Tutoring kids during the school year on their reading <--Been doing this for 3 years now; I volunteer.
3) Does this count as an extra curricular? I write stories and post them onto Wattpad and I have thousands of reads on it and such? Not sure...but thought I would write this up, maybe someone will know? Like if I was writing a college app, should I include this?
4) Member of key club for 3 years
5) Secretary of MESA club as of next year (I just got elected recently).

I don't play sports because I am not interested in them.
Anyways, it'd be nice if you could let me know my chances and what I should do.
