What are my chances of getting into an ivy?

<p>I just finished my junior year in high school.</p>

<p>I took 4 aps last year, still waiting for my results. Im taking 7 next year =)</p>

<p>I have a 4.60 something gpa</p>

<p>I'm 3rd in my class.. so thats like top 1% or 2%??? we have over 600 ppl in my class</p>

<p>34 ACT, retaking SAT and i still have to take the sat subject tests but im fluent in spanish and did really good in ap bio and apush so im expecting good scores.</p>

<p>not involved in any sports but i am a member of a really selective chorus in my school, only 20 kids accepted per year and i've been in it for all 3 years.</p>

<p>i'm an officer for key club (secretary), nhs(secretary), chorus council, academic olympics (team captain) , AP Biology Club, Math honors society, and junior and future senior editor for the Literary Magazine. Im a member on the relay fr life committee..</p>

<p>Ive only being in the US for 4 years, when i first moved i knew NO english, but im fluent now and im a pretty good writer. </p>

<p>any chances of gettin into columbia, cornell, yale, harvard, or any of those schools??</p>

<p>oooops i forgot to tell u guys im cuban and I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA… my school has a really stupid gpa system… thats why my weighted gpa is so low</p>

<p>Perfect GPA and very solid SAT score. you seem to have done a lot of volunteer work, but so will have alll the kids who apply to the schools you listed. the problem with your ECs is that nothing jumps out at me
buut, the URM hook is a definite plus</p>

cornell- match
harvard- reach
yale- reach</p>

<p>Write good essays and you should get into at least half of those schools :slight_smile:
