I am a High School Junior and thus my GPA this year has not been calculated. I estimate it will be around a 4.0 when finished. I am looking to get into the school of Computer Science.

with the average SAT score of 1530-1580, and acceptance rate lower than 5%. I would say you have low to no chance to get in CMU’s school of computer science. None of your ecs r about computer science and ur SAT is way below average for CMU CS, I would rate it as a high reach for you.
I plan to retake it in June, superscoring to get at least a 1550. I will admit, this was a bad post as I’ve done more things than what I listed. I need to restart this post.
Low. CMU and MIT CS are the most selective in the country.
No reason not to have it on your list. That’s why reach lists exist. And that’s why they are called reaches. Easy enough to find schools to put on that list. More impressive to see some likely schools you really like on that safety list which is the most difficult to compile.
There is plenty of hope if you are a URM/Female
cmu scs is hella competitive for everyone. with weak ECs related to CS, you’ll need to work on CS more
Essays are going to be the only way to stand out… I would try to increase your SAT if possible
