<p>I have a 3.7 GPA (weighted) and plenty of extracurriculars. I play football, and lettered and was selected as a first team all star this season. In addition, I am on the debate team, and am pretty successful at that. I started the chess club at my school and I am the vice president of it, and I am also in the Academic Challenge club. </p>
<p>In my sophomore year, my honors English class entered into a national essay contest for the Ayn Rand institute. Out of 15,000 entries, my essay placed 3rd.</p>
<p>This summer I will be attending Keystone Boys State, which is a summer program with a ton of prestige, where you and your fellow "citizens" run a mock government for a week.</p>

<p>I am a junior in high school right now. As it stands, what do you guys think my chances are of getting into Carnegie Mellon? My main concern is my GPA, its only 3.7, and weighted, at that. But I've heard most colleges only look at your weighted GPA, so I'm not sure.</p>
