Hello! I am currently a senior in high school and applied priority to Clemson. It is my #1. I scored a 1680 on the SAT and my weighted GPA is a 3.6. I know that those are not as high as they should be, but I am involved in a ton of extracurriculars and community service. I also go to one of the best independent schools in Virginia. I have a connection with the son of the former president of Clemson and am currently working with him on my admission. Clemson has been my dream ever since I stepped foot on campus and I would love to go there!!!
I would say you have a pretty decent chance!
What is your unweighted GPA and the CR and M scores on the SAT? What is your major? Clemson looks at GPA, test scores and rank the most. I suggest you look at the Common Data Set for Clemson for last year’s admission to see where your stats fall in comparison to students admitted last year to get a comparison. Clemson had over 20,000 applications last year, with only 50% of those accepted. Admissions have become increasingly competitive over the past several years.
