What are my chances of getting into CSU?

I am applying as a transfer student with fewer then 45 quarter and 30 semester units.

High school GPA: 2.4
-My junior year was filled with D's but my senior and sophomore are above 3.0

College GPA: 3.52 transferable (14 transferable units)
-I have done 19 units at my community college

The major I am applying to is Computer Engineering and all my transferable courses give me credits towards my major.

I am applying to San Jose State University, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal Poly SLO, and maybe San Diego state University.

Also I am attending a community college in San Jose State Universities area (if that has a factor into anything in regards of my admission) and I looked at SJSU site and found that the GPA threshold for computer engineering is 2.5, which my high school GPA does not meet but my college GPA does.

Do you guys think I have a chance in getting into the CSU I am applying to? Also if you think I have a shot at a UC please tell me.

Thanks

your college GPA is very good with what the colleges you’re apply to want. I think for transfer students, college admissions will focus more on the work you did at the community college you attended rather than high school. For what it’s worth, I think you should try to apply to the UC schools. It wouldn’t be good to look back and think what-if-i-tried?

I know if you have 60 semester transferable units they will look more into your community college but I am not sure what they evaluate if you are under that, I hope they will recognize that I have improved from my high school to college.

Anyone else have any input of my chances? I am now planning on applying to UC Santa Cruz (not 100% sure though).
