president of school environment club; two years of leadership at club aimed at mentoring disadvantaged kids; very active in theater and debate clubs;

Plan to apply to Keck, Brown, VCU, Drexel, BostonU

How does it look and should I try? Am worried about medical ECs especially

You have a great shot. But I thought Brown didn’t have a direct med. Brown PLME isn’t direct it’s just more in depth, but they only admitt 50 students a year so that’s a reach for anyone.

BU’s probably the best of what you’ve listed. That’s where I would shoot for.

^If I’m not mistaken, Brown PLME is a direct program. It’s not accelerated, because it still takes 8 years, but admission into PLME guarantees you admission to the Brown Medical School after 4 years.

Thanks, I’m glad to hear that. Do you know, how important are the essays to get into a direct med program?
