    Additional:
My public school is very competitive. Fordham tends to accept many kids from my school. My guidance counselor will also be calling the admissions representative to talk on my behalf. Lastly I also have legacy. My older sister graduated from Fordham with BA in Biology. 'Y cousin also went to Fordham but transferred (counts on common app).

Only 11% of incoming class had a score below 24. Definitely a very high reach even with the letter/ call. What are you planning on majoring in?

Fordham is known as a ‘score’ school. Your ACT is going to raise a red flag there, and your gpa doesn’t really offset it. The sibling factor may help, but you’re likely to get deferred at EA

Political Science.

If it helps, Fordham’s average accepted student at my school has a GPA of a 90 & ACT of 27.

You can take a look at your school’s naviance and see if anyone with a 24 has been accepted. If you can’t see that data, your gc likely can. But then you would also need to know if there were any ‘hooks’ that went along with that score that contributed to the acceptance. A 24 is not really close to a 27. What were your subscores?

Just a side question but was is your budget? Cost of attendance is around 70k per year. Can your family afford that?

Yes, my family can. Its actually around 50 since Im not dorming. @ryanPA
