Hi, I'm an African girl living in Tennessee named Sara.

I have a 3.38 unweighted GPA. My ACT score is very low, a 19 (a 24 in English, 20 in science, 18 in reading, and 16 in math). I'm taking it over in a week on the 25th, though.

I've done some extracurricular activities such as DECA, secretary of the book club, president of the international club, national honor society, cross country, Youth Court, and ambassador of one of my school's academies (at my school we have four different "academies" which are kind of like majors but in high school).

I've taken 15 honors classes throughout high school, four APs (I would've taken more but my school only allows us to take APs once we enter junior year, ugh), and I took two classes at my local community college.

I don't know, I'm pretty insecure about my GPA because it dropped severely in my sophomore year because of personal things (had a 3.78 freshman year) and I think this will be a problem. Do you think I still have a chance of getting in? If so should I apply regular or early decision? How did YOU get in? Please help!
