What are my chances of getting into Fordham university?

<p>HEY:) So i have started my college search and i came across Fordham many have told me its a great school and since they have a campus in NYC its a great fit for me since i would love to study in NYC. The only thing is that Fordham's admissions have become increasingly competitive and i am not sure if i have a chance of getting in. So ill put my high school info. below and from that do you think i have a shot of getting in. THANKS</p>

<li>My GPA is a 3.9 (using s 4.0 scale)</li>
<li>My rank is 53 out of 929 graduating seniors</li>
<li>I am in the top 6% of the class</li>
<li>All my classes are either AP or honors i've taken 4 APs</li>
<li>I am in my schools honor academy </li>
<li>I am in the national honors society </li>
<li>Make a difference club</li>
<li>Tennis team since freshman year</li>
<li>I plan on having amazing recommendations at least 4 or 5 and one from a principle</li>
<li>Great college essay </li>
<li>I will be graduating with an advanced regents diploma </li>
<li>I have an award in language for maintaing an average of 100 throughout the entire school year</li>
<li>Took the ACT grades on in yet</li>
<li>only down fall horrible! SAT(really bad a 1450 which does not reflect me at all as you can see) i go to a great high school with extremely smart kids and i am ashamed by these scores) scores i am not the best test taker i plan on taking the sat at least once more maybe twice really need to pick up my scores</li>

<p>OK so thats me :) i probably have more to write but this is all i could remember.

so do i have a shot for Fordham ??
**Also i plan on doing pre-med so if there are any other colleges that might be a good fit for me with great science programs please let me know i would like to stay in New York.</p>

<p>According to my school’s database of previous students that have been accepted to Fordham University, the average GPA is a 3.6, and the average SAT score is an 1890. The average ACT score is a 28. Your GPA exceeds the average GPA of students accepted, therefore, admissions may consider this. I say you have like a 40% chance because your extracurriculars are a bit lacking… See what your ACTs come out to be. If they are at least a 26, you have a definite chance. Also, are you a senior or junior? if you’re a junior, try to join clubs, and gain some leadership positions. colleges love to see involvement with the school community</p>

<p>I am a senior so time is running out I am going to join some clubs this fall and I am hoping my act scores will help me out…crossing my fingers though I would really love to go to Fordham :slight_smile: I’ve also done a lot of community service in the local hospital</p>
