I think I have pretty decent essays.

I really hope I get in

Hey! I am Indian female too…I applied EA to GA Tech and I really hope both of us get in! Are you in-state? I heard that being in-state or OOS matters. I am eagerly waiting for Jan. 9th.

Can someone please chance me? I’m really nervous, I know I have a slim chance but I would really like another person’s perspective.

since you applied early action, i definitely think there is a possibility for you to get in! GA Tech’s 25th percentile ACT is a 30, which is your composite, and they have a really high average GPA too. I dont know how exactly they look at metrics but if you show interest in the school and if you have a lot of experience in the major you are planning on pursuing at GA Tech, then I definitely think you have a shot!!!

If you dont mind, can you chance me also?

@SouthIndian1998 Chill…It is just a month and a day away from today. This is what my mom tells me when I feel how you are feeling now…Anyways, as I said, if you are OOS, your chances are slim. But, when I looked up GA Tech stats on their website yesterday, their in-state acceptance rate was 37% (over the normal 31%) and for females it was 41%. Also, according to the math I did, they accepted 46.5% of all EA applicants (all stats based on class of 2019). So, if you are an In-state, female EA applicant you should have a good chance of getting accepted. Now, both of us should also take into consideration the fact that we are Indians, to be broader Asians, so our chances are kind of slimmed there. Anyways, good luck!!

P.S. chance me back—

I think you definitely have a shot!! Especially with the EA. The in-state thing could kind of harm your chances, but the EC’s look really good!
(Feel free to chance me back:))

Your measurables are way low for Georgia Tech. The only thing you have going for you is that you are female. Sorry to say, but I don’t like your chances.

I am speaking as a Georgia Tech alumnus.

@Egret1234 You look like you have a lot of experience. Would you mind chancing me for GA Tech?

@Egret1234 I appreciate your feedback about my chances. I will not bring my chances up but, are you positive that I won’t have any chances of getting in. even a small possibility?
