I’ve taken 14 AP exams so far and will be taking 5 more this year, most of my scores have been 3s. I’ve gotten 2s on Physics I/II/E&M but passed all of the others
AP Courses: Physics I, Physics II, Physics C, Calc AB, Calc BC, Environmental Science, Lang, Lit, World History, US History, US Gov, Macro, Capstone Seminar; This year I am taking Chemistry, Computer Science A, Psychology, Statistics, and Capstone Research.

Rank: 108/349 (I attend a very competitive high school, I fear that this will be my downfall)
Extracurricular: President of SECME (GATech is the HQ for this STEM club), member of NHS, Two Feet (social activism club), Hugs & Kisses, and TED-Ed clubs, frequently write and publish original music
Awards: National Merit Semifinalist, Neuroscience Competition winner, AP Scholar with Honor, Writers Square Scholarship
SAT: 1510, only took once

Work Experience: House Restoration, Float Building, Fundraising, Building Peer Skills, Beach Clean Ups

- I’m a first generation college student
- Planned major is environmental engineering
- My admissions essay was philosophical, creative, and artsy (a bit risky) and displayed my passion for the environment and environmental engineering
- I applied Early Action
- I’m a white female (don’t know if this has much of an effect)
- Briefly discussed familial hardships, including alcoholism, substance abuse, depression, suicide, deaths, foreclosure, my brother coming out as trans, and our strained parental relationship
- Come from an upper middle class family (will affect financial aid, don’t know if it will affect my chances)
- I am out-of-state (Florida)
