Hi, I'm a junior up in Wisconsin, and I want to know what my chances are for being admitted into IU. Here are my stats:
Courses: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Algebra, Geometry, Adv Algebra, World History, US History, H CPS (Comparative Political Systems), and Economics. I've taken accelerated fresh, soph, and junior English. I've taken Spanish 1 and 2. No study halls. I am completing my second semester of Econ, Physics, Adv Algebra, H Acc. Junior English, and Spanish 2. I have taken band and choir every year and will continue to do so next year. Also, next year I plan to take AP Bio, AP Psych, AP Music Theory, AP Lit, Statistics, and Spanish 3.
I have about a 3.6 GPA, 18/140 in my class. There's a couple C's littering my transcript... I got a 21 on the practice ACT due to bronchitis... I am taking an ACT prep course and plan to get at least a 23 on the real ACT in April.
My extracurriculars are as follows: band, choir, diversity club, and (hopefully) NHS. I participate in the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, and I had a part-time job that I was laid off from due to the economy.
I am a State Honors musician on the oboe and voice. People say I should major in voice, but my heart tells me to major in oboe performance. My oboe teacher went to IU for grad school and had the same professor that I would have if accepted (don't know if that gives me and advantage). I am visiting IU in the Spring and having a sample lesson with the oboe professor.
So... can I even get in?

if you believe you can achieve

You maybe missing a required math class: trig or precalc
