I am a senior doing IB with my HLs being- Math, Economics, Business &management and SLs being English language and literature, Hindi B and Biology (international student). My IB year score wasn’t as good as expected (i got a 35).
On the contrary I got a 35 in my ACTs and haven’t written subject SATs yet. My extracurricular activities include:
-Vice president of the community service club at school
-Head of two student led community projects- woman empowerment and sanitation drive
-Participating in the global round of World Scholar’s Cup (in july)
-organised a large scale charity event and raised $1000
-Interned at Ivy League Model United Nations India
-Part of the organizing committee of 2 local MUNs
-Won 2nd place in Columbia Business School’s Venture for all Business plan competition
-organised a high school charity dance
-Interned at a financial broking firm
-Interned at a leading local TV channel head office
-Interned at a IT company’s marketing department
-Interned at Hyatt Hotels
- Organizing a TEDxyouth talk at school
