i think thats it, myabe if i think some more things up ill edit.
Please dont bash me over anything specific, constructive criticism is welcome. i just want to know if i can get into JHU for either biomedical eng. or even their pre-med concentration. if anyone think i have a fair chance at anywhere better than JHU, please let me know =), but i doubt it because of my SAT score =/. BTW im taking the oct. SAT and plan to score close to 2200, maybe even higher who knows ::winks::

Thanks a lot!!

If you do actually get your scores up, you have a really good chance. Early decision will help. I'd say get a 2100+ and you're fine.

thanks koala717 thats very reassuring.
bringing up my post for any other opinions =)

few other questions:
1. what about pre-med in Rice? any chance for me?
2. are there any other pre-med options available (i.e other colleges)

bumpity bumpity bump xD

anyone have any % chances or any other colleges that might be good for me if i dont get in to JHU

Which school do you go to? Which ILMUNC did you go to? Do you know anyone from WW-P South from the Waksman program?

Good chance for JHU with the research and stuff. Try to raise the SAT, though - especially the math. Better chance at Reed.

theoneo:
1. I go to John P. Stevens High School(#40 in state)
2. The last ILMUNC, i think it was 21. i was in UNODC (representing Germany),
3. I dont know what WW-P south is, so please explain =)

1) I go to WW-P North. #1 in the state =D
2) I went to ILMUNC 04 (XX?) and 05 (XXI?). At the last one, I was Costa Rica in ECOFIN - I think Germany won an award.
3) WW-P South is the other high school in my district. They participate in the Waksman program. We don't.

Oh...We pwn at debating
do you remember my school? it was basically all indians, in a caucasion environment.
I was laughing my head off! XD
btw we only won in UNODC and UNDP that year. The rest were all verbal commendations.

Hm we got Outsanding Small Delegation. WW-P South got Honorable Mention or whatever is below Outstanding. I believe the Lawrenceville School got Best Small Delegation. And we're all within like 15 minutes of each other =D. Central Jersey pride.

And yeah, I think we have an average of 3 non-asians at each MUN conference. My district has as many asians as caucasians.

so anyway =P
getting back to the topic, can anyone tell me if i have any chances of getting accepted into the biomedical eng. at JHU. ive heard good things about it.
any statistics are welcome!!

I'd say you have a good chance. Your stats, sans the SAT, are similarly to mine, so I hope you get in for sure.

Not to solicit, but could you reply to my thread maybe?

bump, anyone else?

Got any other questions for me?

Hey I kinda would like someone to go to my thread and do the accepted/deferred/rejected thing.

If you could do that for me it would be great.

Oh I should tell you, for SAT, I found the College Board book to be great.

i think you have a good chance...just get that SAT score up and stop being an ass ;-)

How's a 2080 and 750+ on 4 SAT II's on getting into JHU?

you have a better chance of getting in than i do

lol StudyHard, i dont know what to say

that you wont apply........hopefully.......

hehe i cant say that =P
it all depends on what you are applying for (as in major)
