There’s a cutoff, it’s a 3.7 weighted GPA and the SAT I can’t recall off the top of my head. Just do a Google and you should find it. If your numbers pass you’re in, if not you aren’t.

well my weighted is a 4.42/6.0 on my transcript along with my 30 act. hopefully that gets me in. I don’t see why it wouldnt if they do the cutoff.

“For fall 2013, you will automatically be offered direct admission to Kelley if you have:
Been admitted to IU Bloomington and indicated business as your intended major.
Earned a composite ACT score of 29 or SAT total score of 1270, including only the math and critical reading sections. The best available scores from multiple test dates will be considered.
Maintained a GPA of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale during your high school career. Note: If the weighted GPA is provided on the high school transcript, the weighted GPA will be used.”

So basically I’m in is what you’re saying. My transcript offers the weighted GPA so they’ll be looking at the 4.42 at my 30 ACT score.

Doesn’t it seem really easy to get in then?

I think they will need to convert your GPA to a 4.0 scale. A 3.7 on a 4.0 scale equates to a 5.5 on a 6.0 scale, if my math is correct.

Ahm, except a 5.5 on a 6.0 scale is pretty much impossible. But idk, you may be right. I’ll just call them tomorrow haha.

Talking to them is the only way to get an accurate answer. Good Luck!

They take your weighted, so yes you should be in. I had a 3.4un/3.8 weighted and a 32 and was a direct admit.

alright awesome thanks!

hello, I am an international student and I’d like to ask some questions regarding IUB and specifically Kelley.

I’m also wondering if I can get a direct admit to Kelley.

1) I’m doing the IB diploma program, so I’m not sure what my GPA is, but I guess if you convert it (cumulative from my 9th grade grades-btw my counselor came up with this) it could be around 3.48?
my highest SAT scores are CR: 650, W: 680, M: 630
my TOEFL iBT: 105

2) for Kelley, I’m confused on which major I should choose… I’m thinking of Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation, what would you suggest? do you think I have a chance at all of getting into Kelley? or would I be better off picking econ (also something I’m thinking of doing)?

3) does anyone know the amount of math involved in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation?

thank you, any advice/help will be much appreciated!
