So I received 29 points in the IB, took the requisite courses for Mcgill, and the minimum requirement for IB for the bachelors in agriculture is 30, I understand that I may have missed the requirement, but it is only by one point, so what are my chances?
i don’t think your chances are that high, unfortunately, since they usually go for people above the minimum
but hey if you’ve done a bunch of cool clubs and stuff, maybe?
Minimum requirements are pretty firm and even if you meet them there is no guarantee of admission.
I just finished my international baccalaureate this year, and I’m taking a gap year to intern and travel a little. I was predicted a 40, and got a 40 as well. Also, I plan on applying to the faculty of arts for fall 2017 and McGill is my first option. Would I have any trouble getting in due to my decision of taking a gap year?
