What are my chances of getting into MIT?

Hello guys, I wonder what is my chances of getting into MIT as a transfer students.

Current School: Northern Illinois University
Majors: Electrical Engineering & Computer Science
GPA: 3.97
Internship: YES (Programmer, freshman year)
Research: YES (I have done a research with my physics professor)
Tutor: (High school students while I was a freshman) & (College Student when I was a sophomore at NIU)
Honor: Yes

Do you guys think I have good standing to apply to MIT as a junior?

If I got this correct, will you have completed 3 years at NIU before coming to MIT (if accepted)? If so, you are ineligible to come to MIT as a transfer student, unfortunately. If you will have completed 2.5 years, then you are eligible.

Naaah, I only completed 1 years at NIU. (I just finished my freshman year). I said I tutored student when I was a sophomore because I already got accepted and I am gonna start tutoring next year.

I lied here just to see if I am going on the right path.

Why would you lie?

MIT is not for you.

I think you misunderstood me. I just finished my freshman year at NIU, “I tutored high school student at that time”
Now I am doing an internship as a programmer. Next year, I will be a tutor at NIU, I already got accepted there. Moreover, my professor wants me to do research with him. When I will be applying to MIT I will be done with all of that. I did not wanna tell you my life story that’s why I lied.

Up to this moment, nobody gave me a valid answer for my question. Everyone is focusing on the detail rather than the whole point.

Aunt Bea worded it well.

Well we will see. I am gonna apply anyway.

The reason why I pointed that out was because that is not a small detail, and can easily be misinterpreted.

That said, transfer admissions is quite competitive; the only way for you to know for sure is to apply.

No, you are correct, but this was for the other two.

Do you believe misleading your audience with a lie and then attempting to defend it will ever benefit you?

It’s common behavior in some cultures.

No, it won’t benefit me & I did not defend it. I just explained the reason that made me lie which is (to shortcut my story)
