What good business schools would be matches for me?

My schools naviance average was 4.14 gpa

ED to stern. I would say it’s a reach but anything is possible with some look, good essays, and good teacher recs

High match/low reach for NYU Stern. But you’re EDing so that will help.

I would say you have a chance, especially with your rising GPA. Applying ED will help because it shows strong demonstrated interest.

@123ghfsgdy What else would increase my chances besides academics?

Perhaps an internship of some sort. Try emailing an NYU professor in a field that interests you and ask for an opportunity to help regarding research.

if your from Ma. and want to stay in Ma. Consider BC, Bentley, BU and NU. They all have a great business program and pretty diverse university. Regarding NYU, low reach. I know kids that got rejected from BC, BU and NU and got accepted from NYU.

Your chances are ok, but you should know that Naviance doesn’t consider the department when it comes up with things like average GPA and SAT scores. NYU Stern is considerably harder to get into than any of the other
departments (look it up). My best friend who got into UCLA OOS was rejected from Stern as a legacy nontheless.

I’m going to go on a limb here and disagree with @151Andrew151 . Just because those schools have great business programs, does not mean that the OP would get in or that it would be good fit. UPenn is notoriously competitive and OOS Michigan is quite so as well (without the benefits of instate tuition).

Bentley, Babson, Bryant, and Northeastern might be matches with you with those stats.

P.S. I’ve noticed that you’ve posted this link on several forums without offering anything to the discussion. Please don’t do that. Doing so might get other’s attention but also might get you banned or suspended
