So, NYU is my dream school, and I was wondering if I would be a good candidate. I would love any advice. My gpa is a 3.3 . I am a sophomore. Im taking a couple AP classes, (AP English, and AP Geometry) I will take more throughout high school. I am part of a program that is for College prep and SAT/ACT prep. I will take the SAT and ACT Junior year.

My passion is robotics and science fair. I am part of two robotics programs, and am part of two teams. One of my teams has won the South-West Regional competition twice, and we will be the representative team for the South-West in Nationals. My other team has won three state regional competitions. For science fair, I won the U.S. Public Health Service Award and an Outstanding Student Award from the U.S. Surgeon General. I have served as an honorary page for my state senate, and got a certificate from the state.

I am part of an international girls leadership program that is all about volunteering and learning/improving leadership skills, its called Leaders-Now International. I have volunteered at the state bio-park (s) for two summers. I constantly volunteer at food-banks, and at many hospitals. I am a scout captain/mentor for girls scout. I have held a community day for my school, so that my school can be known throughout the community, and so the school can have the chance to help out our community. I am going to be an intern this summer to an engineer/professor at my state university.

If it helps I am a female (clearly). I am a Palestinian-American. I am fluent in Arabic.

I really want to go to NYU, but am open to any other colleges that people may recommend. I would love some advice on what else I have to do to be a good candidate, any advice would be awesome and I would appreciate it! Thanks!
