What are my chances of getting into NYU?

hey guys can anyone evalute my chances of getting into NYU with these stats. Especially if you are a NYU student or Graduate.

I am a junior in High school

GPA: 3.5 unweighted (10 ap classes, 5 honors) im sure my weighted gpa is much higher
SAT: 1910 first time (have to take it another time)
sat II: Math 2- 680 bio-680

extra-curricular :im not sure if u guys need specifics
National Honors society
Varsity cross country: 3 years (captain)
Varsity winter: 2 years (captain)
spring track: 2 years (captain)

Marching band
Concert band
township honors band

FBLA: went to states competition for 2 years
Echo friendly: participated in clean ups but not heavily involved
key club:

over 50 hours of shadowing with a doctor
80 volunteer hours at veterans home
200 volunteer hours at temple or religious center

i have been involved in other things but im sure just listing them wont help me that much
and although my grades are not exceptional i try to make it up with my sports and extra curriculars as i had to take on many leadership positions. Can you guys also tell me where i need to specifically improve on.

I am applying for early decison hoping it will raise my chances of being accepted because i really want to go to this school. Appreciate any help

i also wanted to include that i am going to go into the pre-med field
and specific scores
SAT : 1910 (710-math 600-reading 600-writing)
ap test scores chem-4 bio-4 stats-5 macro economics-5
im taking physics next year (most likely getting a 4) and psychology (most likely getting a 5)
i am also taking ap calculus AB. math has always been a strong subject so i will at least get a 4
Lastly im indian (so Asian on the application)

I also want to go to NYU and have similar stats but I am retaking my SAT’s (got a 1900). Since your GPA is a little bit lower than the average I would bring up your SAT to a 2100+ to be safe. If you still don’t do above 1900 then you can submit your 3 ap tests instead of any SAT since 2 5’s and a 4 are very good for admission. You should be fine since you are applying early decision but which school are you applying to? Stern would be extremely tough for example however you would be fine getting into CAS and definitely LSP.

im applying to CAS. im also out of state and money is not a problem but is it worth it for CAS. i dont how good a reputation it has compared to stern.

Stern won’t happen with that SAT, and CAS is a maybe. This year, someone with your stats would probably have been placed in LSP. But like Ana said, maybe consider sending in your APs? I had around the same GPA as you, and I think somewhere between a 3.5-3.6 is fine considering the rest of your application is solid. For that reason, if you really want to go to a school like NYU (or even better), bring up your SAT to at least a 2100.

Chance me for CAS??

To keep things short and simple, in-state upcoming senior, 3.494 GPA (weighted), 3.39 unweighted, ACT:30, taken 6 AP classes so far (will take 4 more as a senior), hospital volunteer hours 200+, President of a local Indian Youth Organization, DECA, Quiz Bowl, and NHS member.

And i’m Out-of-State from Michigan

Does in-state and OOS matter?

hey guys i am also trying to get into stern. i will do ea if that will help me chances

I am a junior in High school

GPA: 3.3 unweighted (at least 12-13 by application time)
SAT: 2150 by the time i finish
sat II: Math 2- 800
AP: 2 on APUSH (lol) all my other ones will be 4’s and 5’s. i am just terrible at history, hence my gpa

extra-curricular : varsity Debate, student body treasurer for student council, 6 years of piano
National Honors society, SkillsUSA president, Model UN, DECA, outreach, korean breakdancing club, KWAK(kids with a cure)

work experience: statistics manager employed by my school district for every football game at our stadium

over 50 soup kitchen and tutoring kids in math
200 volunteer hours at temple or religious center

i want to do some kind of business camp over the summer (lbw at upenn or 3 weeks or standford) but idk if that will help my chances
Appreciate any help
