I'm a senior.
What are my chances of getting into NYU with a score of 700+ in SAT Bio and 700+ in SAT English Lit, but a 650 on SAT World History exam? Does it help that I got a 5 in AP World History?
Also, I have yet to take the SAT reasoning test. Should I take retake SAT World History, or take the SAT reasoning test, in December? NYU only requires 3 SAT II tests or the SAT I test? I haven't studied much for the SAT I test and I know I would probably only get 1900.
My GPA is 3.7 and I have been involved in my church praise group (church choir) for 4+ years and school choir for 2 years. Also, in tenth grade, I got into the school chamber choir (audition required). I've take voice lessons for 2 years and graduated from level four piano. I switched schools in junior year and now I volunteer at an old folks home and at the animal shelter, weekly. Lastly, I've been a part of the interact (rotary) club for 2+ years and my school religious club for 1 year.
Awards -- 9th grade creative writing/english award; in 10th grade I won November student of the month.

Also, I was recently excepted into my school’s UEP program, which is a program for AP students, etc. Basically we work on a project throughout the year for 125 hours and receive 5 credits. Some end up with published novels, etc. This year I’m creating a documentary.

So?

Don’t send more than 2 SAT II.

You should have taken SAT much much earlier…just don’t worry about SAT WH, and prepare yourself with
SAT 1.

Is that weighted or unweighted? If’ that’s unweighted, fine. If it’s not, that’s no good.

Can you list ECs more clearly?

I would think the only thing holding you back would be your GPA. And what always helps is if you know someone who might know someone. for example, maybe some relatives of yours work with a colleague who went there or knows someone with connections that could put in a good word for you. That happened to a lot of my friends and it helped them big time.

NYU requires 3 SAT subject tests or the SAT reasoning test.

A 650 in World History won’t ruin my chances?

Oh, sorry…I didn’t know that it required 3.

Nope it won’t really have big impact if your other credentials indicate that you are competent.
BTW, Ap scores barely matter in admission/
