I just applied to Ohio State as a transfer student for fall 2016! I am currently a freshman who has only completed 16 credit hours but finished my first semester with a 3.33 gpa. I’m transferring from Ohio University with a major in Chemistry with a Pre-Pharmacy track and I live in-state. My unweighted high school gpa was a 3.9 and my weighted gpa was a 4.01. My ACT score was a 25. When I filled out the application, I didn’t realize that there was an essay portion so now I’m worried that I won’t get in because I didn’t write an entire essay. Do you think I’ll still get in?
Do you have a pulse and are able to do simple math? If yes then you’ll have no problem. But in all seriousness yes you will. It’s quite difficult to get in first year of college but transferring in is quite easy. I’ve seen people with 21 act scores and 3.3 high school and college GPA’s get in. The only thing is the essay. If you don’t get in which is highly unlikely it’s cause of the essay. I wouldn’t sweat it you’ll be fine! Good luck
Thank you, I actually got admitted today!
