I'm an Ohio resident, and I met EA (Nov. 10). However, I still haven't heard back from the university. Does that indicate that I won't get accepted? Many of my friends have already heard back from OSU, so I'm wondering why I still haven't heard anything after over a month. I recently got accepted into University of Pittsburgh, which has a bit of a higher acceptance rate (56%) than that of OSU (55%). What are my chances of getting into OSU? And why haven't I heard back yet?

Pitt is rolling, and they usually get back to in a couple of weeks. However, OSU has early action, and they have a designated day for releasing acceptance information. Most of the time when other people have heard back and you haven’t is because they may be going through your application one last time. Don’t worry about; if you got an email or letter saying you qualified for EA, then you’re fine.
