What are my chances?

cheergirl, your chances are excellent. I am an alumnus, and my oldest son is currently at Ole Miss. I encourage you to apply to Ole Miss and to strongly consider it for your college choice. Ole Miss and Oxford are extremely safe and welcoming. You need to visit if you haven’t already. At Ole Miss you will get a good education and have a wonderful time.

Thank You! I am definitly going to apply, and I really want to go there!
I am visiting the university on April 2nd.
I’m very excited.

I’m also visiting on junior day on April 2…can’t wait to see Oxford and Ole Miss for myself!

I’m Really excited too! I hear it’s a really pretty campus, and that oxford is a great college town… We’ll just have to wait and find out :)

You will definitely get accepted, I was accepted
ACT- 20
SAT- 910/1600; 1420/2400
GPA- 2.3/4.0

It’s pretty easy to be accepted there!

I am also very interested in Ole Miss!!! I will be starting my senior year this fall, I have 19 on ACT and 2.874 GPA…I live out of state, and am planning on taking the ACT again. What are my chances with that?

Admissions requirements for out of state freshman acceptance can be found here:

[Office of Admissions and Enrollment Services](http://www.olemiss.edu/admissions/fap.html)

Take a read of the requirements and let us know if you have additional questions.

I’m also nervous about getting admitted… My ACT is a 25 and my SAT is a 1080/1600 but my gpa is extremely low… 2.5… I just applied today for next fall and I’m about to start my senior year. My high school is just extremely difficult so hopefully they’ll maybe understand…? What do y’all think?

Dude you’re fine. It’s not that hard to get into Ole Miss.
