What are my chances of getting into Rutgers New Brunswick School of Arts and Science (SAS)?
I'm really worried because I haven't gotten a reply yet and I did Early Action. If they reply late does that mean I most likely wouldn't get accepted? :c

I live in-state, not sure if that benefits me or not.
SAT scores:
Math- 610
Reading- 420 :c I did bad on reading
Writing- 560

GPA: 3.47-3.52

I'm Asian (and from what I heard Asians get a higher requirement :c )

The school I go to isn't that competitive to be honest :c

Since I did early action I didn't get to submit my first semester senior scores, which has my AP art history scores on it. Would they still consider that I was in an AP class without looking at my scores?

I applied to Business in Newark, Pharmacy in New Brunswick, and SAS in New Brunswick. I alread got accepted into newark and denied in pharmacy, so Now my last resort to getting into New Brunswick (My dream campus) is SAS :c

Please give me an honest opinion of my chances. I used Cappex to check my chances and they weren't very good :x so I'm really worried.
If you got accept into Rutgers SAS please tell me your scores/gpa so I can kind of weigh my chances c:

Send your grade update in. Just because you applied EA, that doesn’t mean that you can’t submit later info…grades, etc…since you haven’t yet been accepted.

They’re probably deferring your app to see if they have room for you.

Frankly, even tho you applied EA, you should have signed up for the Nov and Dec SAT, studied the CR section and sent those scores in.

I already took the SATs 3 times to get that score :c let’s just say SAT’s weren’t my cup of tea.
To send in my scores to Rutgers do I just do the same that I did before by using spar?

Since they are replying late does that lessen my chances now then? :c

Oh wow congrats! o: If only I could get a 1800 on my SAT.
Since the deadline was pushed back to January 31st does that mean I probably won’t get an answer from them by January 31st? :c
I’m really worried since Rutgers seems to be very competitive ^^;;

I’m pretty sure that you should get a reply by then but I’m not absolutely positive.

My friend applied in October and didn’t get a response until late December. If you are super worried just shoot admissions a quick email inquiring about your status.

Was your friend in any Honors/AP classes because I was never in any honors classes and ended up getting these scores :c I’m only in an AP class this year (senior year) and I was only able to send in my first marking period grades (I hope they got them before they decide on a decision for me)
I heard that those who got higher then me got declined :c

She did take both AP/HONORS courses but her grades were really like high Cs and low Bs.

I personally think what they look for is a group of really diverse students. In your essay as long as you showed them what made you special…I’d say you have a fairly good chance.
