Out of State
Applied in middle october and have not heard yet

3.6 GPA is out of a 4.0 scale

If you applied already i would say you're chances are pretty good

You will definately get in... I just got my acceptance today (for Univ. Park), and my stats were not all that great, 3.17 UW gpa, 1 AP, 2070 new SAT, 30 ACT, decent ECs, out of state. I applied in the middle of Nov, which was pretty early so that probably helped a lot...still don't quite know how I got in. Good luck!

Your SAT is a little below the Average of 1210. If you were In-State you probably would have already been accepted. (like me)

I had a 1270 SAT, all honors/AP classes and 3.5 and I didn't do EC's or Essays on application.

But for out of state and even with about the average SAT, I'd still say you have a good shot at being accepted. Good Luck.

lulu what was your M and CR score?

M 700 CR 670, W 700 (dunno if they even looked at that?)

PSU does not look at the writing skills section of the SAT Reasoning Test yet. I do not know when they will start using it.

They'll start using it in 2008.

Probably pretty good. Nice stats. What do you want to major in?

If you were talking about me, i want to major in engineering, not sure what kind though.
