What are my chances of getting into the university of Waterloo and mcgill University?

I want to get into the mechatronics program at the university of Waterloo. I am an Indian student (cbse). I have 98.2%in grade 10 and 96%in grade 11. I will be taking my 12th grade exams only next year. I am in the math club in my school and am part of the organising committee for my school’s big science and math events. I am part of a summer research program at IIT-M, which has an intensive selection process. I was also part of many science projects at school and went to inter school competitions. I was part of the tamil club in grade 9 and 10(it exists only until grade 10) and I am an artist (I went to an art class for 5 years and completed their course and have participated in competitions). I have medals of distinction in science and math competitions (exams). I am also a merit scholar.

BTW, my school doesn’t offer the euclid

And this is my first question, so I apologise for any issues

Your chances at Waterloo are roughly 30-40%. Google “how its going to work Waterloo” and “chances for 2019 bill anderson” It is more difficult to get admitted to Waterloo engineering as an international student than as a Canadian student. Your chances at Waterloo will depend on your AIF and your video interview.

A high SAT or ACT score would help at both universities.

@bouders FYI Prof Bill Anderson is no longer handling admissions for Waterloo Engineering. It is now William Bishop and the new blog is “The Road to Engineering” - https://theroadtoengineering.com/.

@gwnorth Yes, I know. Most of the historical info is on Bill Anderson’s blog which doesn’t allow a direct link. How its going to work Waterloo allows students to get to the most recent graphs quickly.
