What are my chances of getting into the UT Austin Nursing Program?

Hi. I'm going to be a senior this year, and started looking into the applications a few days ago. I'm extremely interested in the Nursing Program at UT, but I'm just doubting myself a bit and would like an opinion on my chances.
Some of my Stats are a bit old since they were last updated (and given to us) at the beginning of my junior year but I have calculated my GPA after the end of my Junior year. The only thing I don't know is class rank, which is something I hear is very important for UT.
GPA: 6.6/7 during the beginning of my Junior year; it is now a 6.67/7 at the end of Junior year
Rank(as of the beginning of my Junior year): 41/816 --- 5%
SAT: 1640, I'm going to retake it this fall.
ACT: 27, Will Retake
I've been in all honor classes since I was a freshman. And in terms of science courses, I took 3 my junior year which was half of my classes (not counting band), made A's in all of them, and just thought I would include that since it shows my definite interest in Science.
I've been on the Honor Roll all 3 years and I will graduate with 30 hours from Lonestar as a part of the Dual Credit Courses I've taken throughout high school.

Senior Courses:
Band
English 4 DC
AP Calculus BC
Government DC
Biology AP
(Took Macroeconomics DC over the summer, which will also show up on my transcript for Senior year. I made an A :) )

Extracurriculars:
Band; Been in the upper bands since I was a freshmen
National Honor Society; Been a member since Junior
Tri-M (Nationa Music Honor Society); Been a member since I was a Sophomore
National Science Honor Society; Been a member since I was a Junior. I also held the secretary positions as well. (Have plans to become president or vice president this year)
Rho Kappa (National Social Studies Honor Society); Been a member since I was Junior
National Math Honor Society; Been a member since I was a junior
HOSA; Been a member since I was a sophomore
Underclassmen Mentoring Program; Joined Junior year, became a mentor
Key Club; Been a member since I was a sophomore. I held an officer position for junior year where I help run the smaller Key Clubs in the middle schools that feed into our school. (Will be an officer again this year)
Been playing the Piano since I was 5

Through all the ECs that I'm involved in, I've gain over 200+ hours of volunteering through the years.

I know that I am going to get an Auto admit because I doubt that my class rank would have drop alot (preferably to go up) with my increase in GPA between the two years. Please chance me! And give me any bits of advice for UT Austin whether it be the application, college life, coursework, on/off campus living, etc. All is appreciated, Thank you so much!

I think you have a pretty good chance of getting in! I’m going to be applying to some of their honors programs this fall and I’ve heard they can be pretty hard to get into and are very competitive. If you retake your SAT/ACT you have a pretty good chance of getting in, but it’s definitely hard to say for sure, esp. since UT can be unpredictable in their admissions. Good luck! If you get the chance, take a look at mine : http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1674767-chance-me-premed-at-ut-utsa-smu-washu-st-louis.html#latest

Whoops, I meant my old GPA was a 6.5/7, which put me at top 5%
and thank you Mangoes9!

Hey Fallenleavez!
You have a convincing and well-rounded application in my opinion. The only thing I would say you need to improve is your test scores, but it looks like you’re already on that.
I was accepted into UT’s Nursing program and I’ll be starting this fall. At a college meeting, they said that only 17% of ~1,000 applicants were accepted this fall since they changed the program to where you don’t have to apply to upper division in your junior year. (No pressure haha).
Don’t be discouraged though! Just bring those test scores up, write nice essays, and you should be fine.
Oh, and feel free to message me if you have any more questions. :)
