What are my chances of getting into these colleges?

I am currently taking summer courses this month and next month and then I will be sending in my transfer applications as a spring transfer.I do not want to waste money on the college application fee just to get rejected if I have no chance of getting in.

First semester I got 1.667 / 2nd semester I got 3.46 / My current GPA is 2.788.

Since my school does grade replacement I am currently retaking a course which I received a D in during my first semester. I’m taking classes over the summer, both summer sessions. My GPA will increase a lot over the summer if i do well on all of my classes.

If i can maintain a 3.5 GPA, what are the chances of me being able to transfer from a community college to these universities listed below: (some of them are “chance schools”

University of Michigan - Ann Harbor
Brandeis
University of Miami
Boston University
Northeastern
University of Texas
University of Connecticut
University of Florida

You probably can’t raise your current GPA to a 3.5 unless you’re a freshman or sophomore. Due to that, I’d say that Michigan, Brandeis, Northeastern, and Brandeis are out of the picture for you. Hell, you spelled “Ann Arbor” incorrectly (not that big of a mistake; you could’ve simply misheard it). Your chances at the remaining schools depend on your test scores. UT (at least Austin) is a low reach for you and the others are high ranges. But hey, you can bring it back with a high standardized test score. If I were you, I’d look at some smaller state schools with high acceptance rates, most notably UVM, Syracuse, Drexel, Temple, Colorado-Boulder, UMass-Amherst, and Illinois.

I just realized I spelled Ann Arbor wrong due to trying to type too fast. I am applying as a transfer student from a community college in Massachusetts so I automatically get instant admission to Umass-Amherst but it would be nice to get accepted into schools that I actually want to attend. About what kind of GPA range would I need to be considered for admission at those schools?
