Hello im a high school senior with a 3.88 weighted and a 2.68 unweighted GPA as of the beginning of the school year. As for SATs I got a 460 on my reading 530 on my math and 500 on the writing. Throughout my first 3 years of hs I have taken all honors classes with a total of 5 AP classes. This year I'm taking 6 AP classes. I've been on the varisty swimming and water polo teams in my school for all 4 years of HS. I've been the captain of both teams for 2 years now. I have won many awards and have even made a sub junior national team. I'm also involved in key club (community service club), National Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta.

As of now what are my chances of getting into UM , UF, FSU or most importantly Johns Hopkins?

How do you figure you have an unweighted GPA in the B-/C+ range but a weighted average above A-? That’s a pretty big gap between unweighted/weighted.

GPA and test scores won’t work in your favor. The rigor of your curriculum and your ECs will. Do you plan to swim on the varsity team in college? This could perhaps tip the scales in your favor if the coach at one of those schools wants you. How have you done on the 5 AP exams you have taken so far?

That’s the gpa that appears on my report card and its correct I believe due to my large amount of Honors and AP classes. All of my classes have been either AP or honors.

How were your exam scores in those classes? For instance, did you get a 1 in the class you got the F in or did you test better than the grades you earned in class?

To be honest, you should have taken easier classes and do well in them. Your SAT scores track your grades.
Johns Hopkins would be tough.
You will need to get in via atheletics. You can certainly transfer if you do well freshman year.

I only passed one AP test. And I got a B in it. The others I got a 1 and 3 2’s.
Also I’m planning to get As in 5 out of the 6 AP classed im taking this year, so that should help.
How are my chances with the other schools though?

I can’t tell you much about the others, but your SAT and academics are both far below the norm. Johns Hopkins is a very, very high reach for you. Unless they come to recruit you, then you’re probably out of the race. Sorry if I sound demeaning, but I don’t want to sugarcoat anything for anyone, especially not for myself.
