So i applied to UC Berkeley to the Major "Egyptian Civilizations." I took a few art classes and a Western Civilizations class. But my cumulative Jc gpa was a 3.5. Im on PTK and doing the Honors Program for UCLA. The thing is I did 1 semester at a university in canada, and I got 2 F's and 1 D. I redid one of the classes that I got an F in and got an A at my community college. I could not redo the two other classes because there was not an equivalent class. If you factor in those grades from canada with my JC gpa I will have a 3.2. I talked with the Berkeley representative and she said I should relax because she would be shocked if I did not get into Berkeley. She said I will probably get in, because "Egyptian Civilizations" is not impacted and My gpa is still very good. What do you think?

wait a month to know for sure?

I am not an admissions counselor, but it sounds like you just hit a few bumps along the road. I’d give you a 68% of being in at Berkeley. In fact, I think your chances are better at Berkeley than UCLA pending the essays. I wish you the best of luck!
