Hello all!
Thank you for visiting my first post. Firstly, I would like to give you some basic information about myself:
- I am in senior year
- I plan on applying as undecided
- My unweighted GPA stands as a 4.0 (I do not yet know my weighted GPA)
- Over the last 4 years, I have not taken 1 AP exam, nor any SAT subject tests (which make me nervous), as my school does not offer any AP classes. I have taken 3 honors classes, however, and 6 college courses (UC approved) through Dual Enrollment programs (all As and 1 B).
- I have an 1180 on my SAT HOWEVER I will score much higher on the November test; Ive been taking SAT prep classes and hope to score as high as 1400 (according to my practice test statistics). In other words, I will not be counting on my 1180 score, as its much lower than my potential.
- My transcript shows my prominent involvement in both music and engineering: rock band, jazz band, music theory, computer science, hardware programming, 3d printing, and graphic designing.
I understand that this alone will not determine my chances, as the rest is left up to my personal statements, my actual SAT scores, and to the admissions officers. I just am curious to see how much these stats stand out to the people who are reading this post about Berkeley applicants.
Thanks!
