What are my chances of getting into UCF?

I’m about to be a senior & im considering applying to UCF in august but I’m not really sure if I should considering I have no community hours yet & I’m planning to work my ass off to get at least 100 before I graduate.
As of now I have a 3.06 unweighted gpa & 4.38 weighted. Hopefully I’ll have at least a 3.1 by the time I graduate since I’ll be starting dual enrollment in the fall.
My SAT & ACT scores suck but I’m planning to retake both tests in the fall & then in the spring
I got a 1360 on my SAT & a 17 on the ACT first time.
I heard sometimes you have a better chance of getting into ucf if you apply early but i dont really know if that will be the case with me considering I dont really have a lot to offer…
Should I just go ahead & apply in august or wait till my senior year is over?

With such low test scores, I wouldn’t bother applying in August. Retake the SAT and/or ACT and then apply. Waiting till January will not hurt your chances much, if at all. Applying early helps with merit scholarships (get one while they still have funding), but you’re not really in the running for one.

Study for the test, and I’m sure you’ll do great!

Good Luck!
