You need to calculate your UC GPA at the end of Junior year using grades from the a-g course requirements 10-11th grades only.
https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
http://www.ucop.edu/agguide/a-g-requirements/
Since you are OOS, only AP/IB or DE courses taken in 10-11th grade will count for the extra honors points in your GPA. You will self-report 9-11th grades to make sure you fulfill the a-g course requirements.
UC’s put a huge emphasis on GPA so you want to be at the averages or above. Since you have no test scores, it is impossible to chance you at this point so come back once you have your results. Here is the Freshman profile from last year’s class to give you an idea on how you compare. UCLA uses the UW UC GPA, the Capped weighted UC GPA and the Fully weighted GPA from the calculation.
UC’s also consider HS course rigor and so no AP or IB courses on your schedule. This will definitely impact your chances.
I want to also mention to run the Net Price Calculator for UCLA. As an OOS student, you will not be eligible for financial aid other than Federal aid from UCLA so expect to pay close to full price at $55K/year.
GPA and test scores of middle 25%-75% students:
High School weighted capped UC GPA: 4.12 - 4.30
ACT Composite Score: 29 - 34
SAT Critical Reading: 620 - 740
SAT Mathematics: 640 - 770
my school only as one or two AP courses and those are offered in 12th grade only
You will not be penalized for not having any AP classes available until Senior year.
