Hi this is my first post and I’m not sure if I’m posting at the right section but I would like to know if I can get into Uconn, West Hartford branch or Storrs. My grades weren’t really good so I’m not sure if I’ll make it, I’m also open to suggestions. Thanks

The reason for my sudden drop in grades from my freshmen to sophomore was towards the end of freshmen year, my great grandpa who I always loved since I was a kid past away, during the summer my great grandma did too. I was doing okay in the beginning of sophomore year but during the winter, I got extremely overwhelmed with work, school, and family and friend relations and became extremely depressed. I even skipped a few days, and that ended up only ruining my GPA. But towards end of sophomore year I joined track and started getting my things together. Over the summer I volunteered and learned a lot and decided to work hard and get into Uconn. So far this year my grades are all As and Bs and I’m also taking honors and AP classes. Next year I’m planning on taking more challenging classes to improve my GPA more. I’m also getting a lot more involved with extracurricular activities this year.
So what do you think? Do i have a shot at Uconn? Do you guys think I can do anything to increase my chances?
