UCLA/UCB/UCSD: Impossible
UCI/UCD: Very very high reach, it’d be like playing russian roulette with 5 bullets.
UCSB: This is going to be a reach, unless you get your SAT score above 2000.
UCSC: Not exactly a match, but a far less reach than UCSB.
UCR: PERFECT! you’re in. (Join the club)
UCM: Don’t bother with.

LOL i already knew i wont get into UCLA UCB or UCSD. I didnt even say I wanna go to there lol. UCI UCD I wanna go in, but my stats are at a big disadvantage but I’ll improve what I can and hope for the best. UCSB really its a reach? I thought its the same as UCI and UCD oh wells. UCSC I dont wanna go to, but I live an hour away -.- so I’m local kind of (Also sister went there so iono if that works in my favor lol). UCR ehh i guess if its for business I’ll consider going. UCM i dont wanna go but if its a guaranteed admission to better UC i’ll go lol.

BTW any1 have inputs on some States such as SDSU and Cal Poly SLO

ehh I kinda knew i would get into UCR and UCM and most likely UCSC, but i wanted a mid tier UC. Oh well I guess luck will tell in March, I’m applying to all the UCs so w.e. if i can get into any mid-tier UC i’ll go :). What about privates in Cali. I can afford it so money shouldnt be a factor

I have very similar stats and from my research here’s what I would say:

UCLA/UCB: High High High Reach
UCSD: High High Reach
UCI/UCD: Low/Medium Reach
UCSB: Match/Low Reach
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Match

I think if you improve on the SAT I and IIs you have a pretty decent chance at SB/I/D. Also try out the ACT. Personally, I did tons of SAT prep, bombed it, and somehow did fairly well on the ACT.

Haha Good Luck to you. I wish UC gives extra points for going on this forum and actually taking an effort to post a chance thread, shows that you’re interested. But life isn’t always fair :(.

lol well hey they must have seen something in you. people on here can judge a person all they want based on EC’s and other credentials but it’s really the college who decides who gets in, not the public. so i’d like to say, congratulations :)
